This piece is handmade by myself in my Lawrencetown studio using wheel thrown red Canadian stoneware and homemade glaze. It is lead free.

As with all my work, each piece is handmade and unique and therefore has its own character. The size, shape and color may vary and differ from the pictures. These slight imperfections are what makes handmade beautiful and are meant to be enjoyed.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Place the ashes directly inside the urn. Even though the lid is well adjusted, the urn is not airtight. If you wish to have your ashes very well contained, I recommend placing them into a sealable plastic bag inside the urn.

If you want personalised text and/or stamps on your urn, you have to order the personalised version and send me the details in the "add your personalization" box. You can also choose the plain option if you want nothing on it. Please note that personalised items are not exchangeables or refundable.

TO CALCULATE THE URN SIZE
To calculate the size of the urn that you need, you can use this rule of thumb: 1 pound of weight = 1 cubic inch. So if you are choosing an urn for a 10 pound cat, you need at least a 10 cubic inches urn. This is approximate and will change from place to place. In doubt, you should choose larger. Of course, you can also choose an urn that you like and that will fit in the place that you have for it, fill it with a part of the ashes and dispose of what's left. If you want a precise measurement, you should see with your crematorium or vet. If you already have your ashes, you can calculate the volume like this, in inches: Lenght x Height x Width = Volume.

PROCESS TIME
When everything goes well, I need 4-5 weeks to make a piece. 8 weeks is the longest time possible it can take me, if we consider problems in productions or vacations. Feel free to contact me at any time to get an estimated time of arrival.
