This quilt is just beautiful! I used a modern quilting technique and cut the fabric into strips and re-assembled it with white fabric in between. The fabric is designed by Chong-a-Hwang for Timeless Treasures and I think it is just spectacular! The flowers are vivid and the colors are bright! I quilted it with a beautiful pattern called ribbons and roses keeping with the floral theme.
The quilt is perfect for curling up on the couch, measuring ~50" x 56" The poly down batting makes it cool for summer and warm in the winter.
This quilt features a rich Canary Yellow Shannon Cuddle Minky backing that is so soft! If you have never experienced Minky you are in for a treat, it is oh so soft and warm! Cuddle Fabric, from Shannon Fabric, is the highest quality and most sought after Minky, not available at big box stores. Ultra-soft Cuddle backing (also called minky) is very popular these days because is it so soft and plush. It is an especially popular choice for baby blankets and blankets for children, but it also appreciated by adults. The high quality of minky fabric prevents its colors from fading and its warmth from decreasing over time.
Professionally quilted on a long arm quilting machine with a floral patter ; stitches are even, tight, and dense which makes it very high quality lifetime quilt. A traditional double-fold binding of green/teal batik around the edges ensures this quilt will stand the test of time!
The quilt measures ~50" x 56"
Machine wash cold with detergent, but NO Fabric Softener! Tumble Dry on Extra Low or Air Fluff Only. If you would rather not use the dryer you can hang to dry. Remember - do not use fabric softener or iron the minky!

Product quality is excellent. Fabric is so soft. And color contrast is ideal for newborn babies. The kit arrived promptly in a sturdy box. No chance on damage I did contact the seller and she’s prompt with answering questions. I am looking forward to making this baby blanket for the a future mommy. I know she will love it!

Could hardly see the snowflakes. Edges were not finished and when washed unraveled. I was expecting more of a finished product, not just a piece of material. I finished the edges and added more of a snowflake sparkle to it. Product ok, would not reccomend. Thank you

I am sorry you were not happy with the fabric and would have appreciated your contacting me regarding this. The snowflakes do not sparkle but are lightley speckled as the listing stated. I am glad that you were able to use the fabric.
