This unisex mini sling bag is ideal for the person who likes to carry just the essentials. It is my go-to bag for walks, bike rides, running errands, etc.

Andie Sling Bag Features:

• Zip top closure for keeping contents secure
• Sliding d-ring so you can switch shoulders without unhooking the strap
• 1 exterior asymmetrical zippered pocket
• 1 interior card size slip pocket
• Adjustable crossbody strap
• Dimensions: 5-1/4” wide x 7-1/4” tall x 1-3/4” deep

Skill Level: Intermediate. Prior bag making experience is recommended - it is helpful to have experience installing zippers and sewing around curves.

8” Handbag Zipper (1-1/4 zipper tape width) - 1
1” Wide D-Rings: 1
1” Wide Rectangle Strap Slider: 1
1” Wide Swivel Hooks: 1
1/4" Wide Basting Tape (Wonder Tape) if finishing by machine: 22 inches

Other Notions + Tools: Fabric pen or chalk, ruler, thread, zipper foot, hand sewing needle.

Suggested Fabrics: Canvas, denim or similar for the exterior (7-10 oz.). Quilting weight cotton for the lining.

This pattern is amazing. Very well written and the video for the finish steps explained perfectly how to sew in the lining. This is my first ever sling bag and I'm so excited to make more! Its a great pattern and an adorable end product. The strap is nice and long and very size inclusive. Can't wait to try another pattern from this shop!
