Wide Leather Hound Collar – Semi Slip, Sighthound Collar

A wide fit, semi-slip, leather hound collar with a curved shape. This dog collar is best suited to whippets, greyhounds, ibizan, pharaoh hounds and other sighthound breeds including lurchers. This collar is beneficial to other dog breeds with long, sensitive necks. This collar comes in 14 different colours and is shown in the first image in mint leather with brass hardware.

The shape of this collar stops it from accidentally slipping over your dog's head and helps to protect the neck. The wide surface area spreads any pressure out and helps to protect the trachea. We have designed this collar with two O rings to split your lead clip and identity tags.

We build your collar in our home workshop using the measurements you provide. The hardware is saddle stitched into the leather entirely by hand. This means that each stitch can be strength-tested as it is sewn. We are passionate about custom-fitted collars as we feel this gives your dog a much better fit than collars with a size range. We aim to place your dog's current neck size in the middle of the slip strap, giving you a personalised size range for coat changes, weight fluctuations etc.
