Custom Sari Bed Canopy: Bohemian Cottagecore Decor

Bohemian bed canopy made from Indian sari fabric. Handmade with love.

This canopy comes with four fabric ties made from the same fabric. There is a loop at each of the four corners with which you can hang it directly from the ceiling or tie ropes.

This listing is for customized canopies similar to the one shown in pictures, in different sizes. The colors, color combination and patterns will be different on your canopy. Please read the description further below for all details on how this customized order works.

Fabric : Printed Georgette & chiffon. We mix and match fabrics which are lightweight and sheer. These fabrics are new and not vintage.

Sizes: All standard bed sizes from Single/Twin to California King.

Twin/Single: 38.5" X 74.5" inches
Twin XL: 38.5" X 79.5" inches
Full/Double: 53.5" X 74.5" inches
Queen: 60" X 79.5" inches
King: 76" X 79.5" inches
California King: 72" X 83.5" inches

By default the length of each curtain of this canopy is approx. 90 inches. If you want a shorter/longer length, please let us know.

We also make canopies with very long curtains (upto 5 meters in length). Please message us for a custom quote.

How does this custom listing works:
My mom and I, we personally make and stitch each canopy. Please mention your preferred colors/color scheme you want in the customization details box. Once we receive your order, we both personally chose & procure each sari. We then measure and cut the fabrics. This is followed by assembling and stitching the canopy. After this, we add the finishing touches and pack and mail the canopy to you. The entire process is completely handmade and is a labor of love. It takes approx. 2-3 weeks from start to finish. We will be communicating with you at each step and updating the progress through Etsy messages.

Indian sarees come in an infinite number of colors, designs and fabrics. It’s very hard to find sarees with identical prints and designs. We love this fact though, as there are tons of patterns and colors to chose from, and each canopy will be unique, fresh and beautiful. 

For the same reason, we cannot ensure very specific color shades, though we’ll try our best. For example, we may or may not be able to get exact ‘lilac’ or ‘lavender’ shades separately, but we’ll get sarees in the ‘purple’ color family.
