Yes, they are! We started the Recomputing using broken motherboards that Jaroslav has collected working as a repair specialist. Now when we ran out of his stock, we buy broken circuit boards locally.
During the years we found out that manufacturers use many different colors for solder mask and nowadays green is not the most common one anymore. Now we use these eight colors in our work: blue, dark blue, red, green, purple, dark brown / black, yellow / olive green, orange.
