A colour giclee photographic art print of the Fashion and Textile Museum on Bermondsey Street in London. A cool, contemporary image that will bring a strong pop of colour to your space.

THE PHOTOGRAPHER

The image, as with all images in the shop, is taken by London based photographer, Kelly McCann. Kelly has a first class degree in photography and digital imaging and has been a photographer for over 15 years. She is a regular exhibitor at the famous Spitalfields Arts Market.

THE PHOTOGRAPHIC PAPER

The photograph is unframed and professionally printed to order on Hahnemuhle Photo Luster 260gsm. The paper is a microporous, resin coated photo paper with a beautiful, consistently smooth, luster surface. Its weight provides a higher stability than many other photo papers and guarantees long lasting, fade resistant prints.

THE GICLEE PRINTING PROCESS

The giclee printing process allows for ultra sharp reproduction of images using a complex variety of pigment based inks covering the full colour spectrum. This process also ensures longevity of quality.

SIZES

Proportions are in line with standard "A" sizes meaning a ready made, low cost frame will be easy to find from multiple homeware shops. Prints at size A1 (841x594mm) are limited editions and come with a signed certificate.

THE PACKAGING

A4 prints:
Prints that are A4 or smaller are packaged flat. Each print is sandwiched between two sheets of acid free tissue paper and then the prints themselves are sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard. The two boards are taped together using paper tape at each of the four sides to keep the prints from moving. This is then placed inside a recyclable mail bag made from sugar cane.

All the materials in A4 packaging is recyclable and plastic free.

Prints larger than A4:
Larger prints are sent rolled in postal tubes. Each print is wrapped in acid free tissue paper, the prints are then rolled around a smaller tube to protect the prints from getting creased while rolling. The prints are then wrapped in a heavy weight paper, longer than the prints to protect the edges while inside the postal tube, this roll is taped to stop the prints from unwinding and filling out the tube, which makes it easier to remove from the tube.

All materials within postal tubes are recyclable, the only plastic element is the postal tube end cap.
