Highlights
We're Oak and Steel, a small family-run business in Leicestershire.
Every piece of furniture is handmade by us, using solid steel and real wood, right here in our workshop.
These Sofa side tables are made to sit just above the arm of the sofa and is perfect for holding your favourite drink.
All our Sofa Side Tables are made in our little Oak and Steel workshop in Leicestershire.
- Made from heavy duty 10mm solid industrial steel.
- Frames are welded to achieve a high level of strength and durability.
We offer a Hardwood Oak or Softwood timber option for the top.
- Wood top measures 20cm x 40cm.
- Wood is finished in either Light Natural Danish Oil or Jacobean Dark Oak Danish Oil or Black Finish.
The best way to work out the height you need is by measuring from the floor to the top of the arm chair. Then add on 1cm and this is the ideal size. If you require a size that is not listed then let me know.
We offer more designs and sizes on our Etsy page, alternatively, we are happy to work through any design ideas with you.

Who is Oak and Steel?
We created Oak and Steel in 2021 after we struggled to find shop brought furniture that perfectly fitted in our house. We've always liked the industrial style and using my background in fabrication, we came up with a range of hard wearing, beautiful pieces of furniture that fit in any home and most importantly, can be custom made to fit perfectly into any size alcove or gap.
We take great pride in every item that leaves the Oak and Steel workshop.
If you have any questions or design ideas then let us know.

Reviews for this item
What buyers say, summarized by AI: Great quality Well packaged Love it Helpful seller
Really pleased with this item. Excellent quality and matched the description exactly and was really well packed. Only problem was delivery. It was dispatched and arrived at Evri well within the date l was given but Evri then took forever to deliver it so possibly change the courier to avoid customer frustration although more than pleased with the seller😊
Well made well packaged, and delivered on time. I did without realising order the wrong ones but that was my mistake and we are making them work. I'm very happy with the quality and would recommend.
Perfect, this is now my third one of these tables and really pleased with them. Portable and fit perfectly under the sofa when not in use.
They were super helpful and allowed me to customise it to fit my space
