Hate to not give this 5 stars. When I received the desk there was a small hole in the fabric that leaked Styrofoam beads. I patched it with some Tenacious Tape and it is perfect. Solid, smooth, and I love the little lip at the bottom so my pen doesn't drop off. Happy overall! Tried to upload a photo, but Etsy was having a moment.

Jennifer, that is dissapointing! This is the first cushion I’ve heard with a hole in it. I’ll replace it no questions asked. I will be sending you a new one. No need to return the one you have.

When I set out to get something to make reading in bed more comfortable, I didn't expect to spend this much, but I'm really happy with the item. Excellent piece of wood, and the small lip and amount of fill work great to hold a large book at a comfortable angle (granted, bedding plays a role). I do wonder if I'll eventually want to access the fill, in which case a zipper would have been nice, but perhaps that will never be necessary since it's not handling bodyweight like a bean bag chair would.
