This set of swatching sheets changes that.

ABOUT MY SWATCHING SHEETS:

I created this sheet as a tool for my own color organization and to help demonstrate color swatches in the watercolor classes I teach, and I loved them so much I truly believe they'll be awesome for other folks, too!

Whether you teach, paint professionally, paint for fun, or just love color - these ready-printed sheets are a fantastic way to keep the watery mayhem of watercolor in a consistent shape and place.

WHY THESE SWATCHING SHEETS:

While a lot of you may want to print a file like this yourself, a lot of home printers do NOT create the water-resistant print that you will need, and they will NOT handle the thick 140 pound paper that even a simple swatch sheet needs to convey all the details you'll want to track.

I've printed these sheets for you, cut to a convenient letter size (8.5x11.) There are places to track watercolor brand, lightfastness ratings, pigment codes (SO important!) and color names. The swatch area is nice and big, and includes a black bar so you can track opacity in your paint. These patches leave enough room to see granulation, try out a lift, or even light-hold tape over half the swatch and hang it in your window for your OWN lightfastness testing.
