These handcrafted sea shell ornaments are perfect for decorating with a nautical twist providing gorgeous coastal accents for coastal weddings, beach inspired Christmas trees and for all year round coastal decor for your home and living space.

Available to buy individually or in sets of 2, 3, 4 or 6, our beautiful scallop sea shell decorations make the perfect treat for any sea shell lover.

These gorgeous medium sized scallop shells measure approximately 7-9cm in diameter. Each has been individually selected for their truly unique markings and barnacles that are so full of character and show so much of their ocean history.

Our scallop shells have each been carefully gilded with their natural beauty highlighted and enhanced with liquid gold leaf, often creating an almost a filigree effect. The reverse of the shells can either be gilded entirely or left largely natural with just an edge of gold leaf.

The shells are drilled and strung on a loop of tasseled golden twine to hang as decadent shell baubles (or buy from our other listings to leave undrilled to use as table decor and flat lay accents.).

These scallop sea shell ornaments range in colour in various shades of pink, white, cream and brown with either gold or natural colourations on the reverse.

Our Shell Decorations will come carefully wrapped in our signature Brandyoak Cottage eco gift wrap including hand stamped tissue, Kraft tags, jute twine, a care card and reusable hessian drawstring bag.

Standard delivery in the UK is with Royal Mail Second Class or receive quicker with First Class.

A note on creation:
Please note that since sea shells are a natural product, their colourations, shapes, sizes and finish all vary, however these shells generally range in size between 6.5-8.5cm in width.

I will endeavour to provide a variety of different sea shell ornaments, similar to the mixture of shells in the photos, in each set.

A Note on Dispatch & Delivery:
Once your item has been dispatched I pass over the delivery of your items to the lovely people at Royal Mail. (Thank you!)

UK:
Standard delivery is sent via Second Class post, which Royal Mail advise generally takes 2-3 working days after dispatch to arrive.

For quicker delivery, you can select First Class as an option, which Royal Mail state they aim to deliver the next day after posting.

Overseas:
Packages are sent via Royal Mail International Standard (Airmail), with the postal system advising items take the following number of working days after dispatch to arrive:

-Europe 3-5 working days
-USA 6-7 working days

However, please allow a few more days for items to arrive given international delays due to the current pandemic.

Waiting for delivery:
Occasionally there are delays in the postal system that are unfortunately beyond my control, such as when there is bad weather, busy periods or other events that impact Royal Mail’s expected transit times and that of their overseas counterparts (Christmas, Covid..).

If you have any concerns over when you might receive something by, please do drop me a message before buying and I’ll do my best to help if I can. It may be that I’m able to send out an item that same day or I can find out how much it might be to send via Special Delivery or a Courier to you. If I’m able to, I’ll try to help in anyway that I can xx
