The Hestian table lamp is a medium-sized, statement light fixture that is sculpted from clay pulp using non-toxic and low-VOC adhesives. It is mixed with recycled paper (turned into a pulp) and finished in a mineral gypsum plaster that naturally dries to a bright white colour. The shape is expressive of the human form.
Form inspired by Elizabeth Grosz's 'Space, Time, and Perversion': "The question of dwelling, of where, and how to live..."
