I made this ring over ten years ago and while it was in the Gallery I got repeated comments that it was the most beautiful diamond ring they had ever seen. That is not that unusual when you realize what went into the making of the ring.

First I choose a diamond myself with my educated and trained eye by comparing hundreds of Canadian Diamonds, and choose the diamond that is actually the most beautiful bar none, from the most ethical diamond supplier that I know of in the world. Everything else that is usually focused on the 4C's is incidental, but extremely accurate to assure the best value, and I have to agree that what the certificate says is true, and that the diamond is the best representation of the best example of value of a diamond with the 4 C's stated on that certificate.

Second the ring mount itself is made from my own Proprietary 10% Iridium Platinum, formulated in my own shop under an extremely controlled environment to ensure a pure product that is blemish free and without any contaminants in any way. This Platinum alloy is the brightest and most durable and the most difficult Platinum alloy to work because of its extremely strong molecular bond and its resistance to corrosion to even the most corrosive of Acids.

Third I form the Platinum into the shape and the finished design with hammers and anvils. This compresses and hardens the metal even further and organizes and develops the molecular structure to a very finely grained finished product, that with stands wear and deep scratches and dents. The finished product achieves such a high lustre that the finished ring looks like liquid and appears that you can see right into it. This kind of finish is not achievable with the traditional way of making jewelry today of pouring the metal into a mold of the ring design. All this process produces the best possible True Extreme tension ring to hold a diamond securely forever.
