This listing is for simple signs (not timelines, table plans or orders of the day etc). It could be anything from Welcome, Unplugged Ceremony, Sweet Buffet, or Pick a Seat, Not a Side, to Toilets This Way or any other sign. Our printed signs are a great way to show your guests where to go, provide information or even make them laugh! Each one is printed onto your choice of a quality 5mm rigid, hardwearing, water-resistant Foamex board, a 2mm thick card, or 235gsm satin Poster. All printing is done onto a white background. These boards and posters are available in sizes A2 and A1. As with all our stationery, our signs and posters are fully customised for you for the perfect finish. VARIATIONS EXPLAINED

FOAMEX
Foamex is a PVC foam board which is reasonably lightweight yet very hardwearing due to its fine cell structure and flat, non-crumbling surface. We use a quality 5mm rigid, hardwearing, water-resistant Foamex board. All printing is done onto a white background. These are great for standing on an easel for display or for simply leaning up against a prop.

2mm CARD
Our white poster card is a 2mm thick, uncoated card that is ideal for framing or simply pinning up onto a board. Please note that it CANNOT be rolled up! If you need to be able to roll it up for transport, please select one of the Poster options.

235gsm POSTER
A lovely thick, single-sided, white 235gsm satin, coated paper. Satin paper achieves a better colour and density than uncoated paper and can also be gently wiped clean. It can crease easily so care is needed when handling. This will arrive rolled up in a tube and is suitable for easy transport.

LAYOUT
You can opt to have your sign portrait/vertical or landscape/horizontal. If you do not specify on you order it will be as per the first image in the listing.

Colours of poster and Foamex products can vary slightly from the proofs and any previous printed products you may have had from us as a different printing process is used.

HOW DO I SEND THE DETAILS?

Most orders we receive are missing details and nearly everyone follows up with a message asking how to send them. Please provide:

1. Your email address
2. A mobile telephone number (for delivery notifications)
3. The actual event date
4. The date you wish to receive it by
5. The exact text you'd like to have printed on your sign

Our email address is on the automatic order confirmation you will receive from Etsy. This is the best place to send the details to and will ensure that our address is added to your whitelist/safe senders so that your proof does not end up in spam. Please, please read the Order Process & Instructions section below. We’ve listed all the information you could possibly need on this listing so that you don’t need to message us and wait for a reply.

Please send all text typed exactly as you would like it to appear as we copy and paste. Please do not format or centralise the text as we will do that for you. If you add numbers, dashes, or notes in brackets, these will be copied along with the rest so it’s best to just list the details without all the lines and dashes. We only need to copy the text. If you’re happy with the icons/pictures shown, great! If you have seen others you prefer elsewhere, just let us know. Add additional icons or remove some. We can alter it to suit! We will create electronic proofs for you so that you have plenty of opportunity to make changes. Nothing goes to print until you are happy with it, and because proofs are final, we do not limit the number of changes you can make to your electronic proofs within reason.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES?

The answer is YES (simple signs only, not timelines or table plans)! We fully customise everything so if you’d prefer to word things differently from that pictured or lay the information out differently, just tell us when placing your order. Perhaps you’d prefer it to be for some other event? Just let us know when ordering. These signs are suited for any occasion including birthdays, balls, christenings etc. Add matching menus, table name/number cards, printed place cards, and a table plan to complete the matching set.

Colours can vary slightly from the proofs and any previous printed products you may have had from us as a different printing process is used.

We can print details in different fonts to those pictured. If you see any you prefer on one of our other products, please just add a note to the order. Please note that some fonts print capital letters as large lowercase letters. Please check listing photographs to ensure you are happy with the font.

We can match any of our designs. If you have had invitations from us with a custom design, we can match them. It doesn’t change the price.

DRILLED HOLES
You can have 6mm drill holes* in the top 2 corners or in all 4 corners if you are planning on hanging or suspending your Foamex board for viewing from both sides. This takes the hassle out of hanging and is far easier than measuring up yourself and hunting around for a suitable drill. Drill holes are 6mm as standard*. Prices are £7 for 2 holes and £9 for 4. We can either create a custom listing for you to include these or add them in afterwards. Just email us or write a note on your order.
*Foamex boards only. 8mm & 10mm also available.

ORDER PROCESS & INSTRUCTIONS
--------------------------------------------------
1. Choose the type and size.
2. Select your quantity. If you need more than 3, please contact us for a custom order so that you can get the quantity discount. Each one can be totally different. Perhaps you would like a Welcome Sign for the entrance and other signs dotted around the venue to point out areas of interest.
3. Please try and allow at least 2 - 3 weeks for any amendments, proofs, printing, and delivery. If you need these in under 2 weeks, you must select the Priority Express shipping option.
4. Enter any message for us into the text box provided, including your email address and a mobile telephone number. Remember to tell us if you’d like it portrait or landscape. You can email all the table details afterwards so don’t worry about the character limit.
5. Please email us the details for your sign(s) at your convenience. Please do not format the details with tabs or lots of spaces or lines. Please just list any details as simple text in an email or Word document with any notes you’d like to add about fonts and layout listed separately. We must be able to copy and paste each item individually.
6. Check out using your chosen payment method and remember to select the right shipping option. Please do not select standard delivery and then ask for an ASAP turnaround. This will not speed up the order process, particularly during busy periods. Please keep an eye on the Etsy dispatch time and allow plenty of time for the order to be shipped on that date. The only way to speed up the process is by selecting Priority Express during checkout (see full details below).
7. Once we receive your order, a member of our design team will create electronic proofs* using the information you have supplied usually within 2 – 3 working days (occasionally slightly longer during busy periods). You can change any of the text, colours, and layout, and request alternative fonts. The proofs will be emailed to you. We do not limit the number of changes you can make to your proofs within reason. Once approved for print proofs are final!
8. Once you are happy with your proof, let us know and we will send your sign to print. Nothing goes to print without your approval.

If after placing an order you haven’t heard from us within 3 full working days, please get in touch. Remember to check your spam! This will not always show up on a mobile device so please use a computer or laptop. We recommend you email us as soon as you’ve placed your order to open up communication channels. All communication for the order will be via email so that all the order details are kept in the same email chain.

PRINTING & DISPATCH

Your order will normally be dispatched within the quoted Etsy processing time. This will be extended if you delay sending your information or approving proofs. We always try to dispatch items as quickly as possible using a *courier service where possible. The delivery will need to be signed for. The whole process normally takes around 2 - 3 weeks plus delivery time depending on the product and whether amendments are made to the proofs.

If you need a quicker turnaround, please select the Priority Express shipping option during checkout (see below for further details).

*SHIPPING CHARGES

All deliveries to Northern Ireland and some other outlying islands and highlands will incur a surcharge for shipping regardless of which option you select. This is out of our control and is what all shipping companies add onto the cost. All large format items are sent via courier as they are too large to be shipped via Royal Mail. Please contact us in advance if you are unsure about paying an extra fee for delivery. Unfortunately, it is not possible to automatically charge this on Etsy so it will always be done manually once an order has been placed.

PRIORITY EXPRESS
We have introduced a Priority Express shipping option for those who need their sign(s) quickly. Your order will be pushed to the head of the queue for processing, printing, and dispatch! Shipping is via the fastest shipping option available for your post code (Next Day for most UK mainland addresses; 2 – 5 days for some outlying postcodes). Please note that we need a minimum of 5 full working days, longer for Northern Ireland, islands, & Highlands (excluding weekends) to get this to you and we must have all the information with the order to enable us to start work on your proofs right away. Please remember to provide a valid email address as well as a mobile telephone number for delivery purposes. Deliveries can be delayed and can also get damaged, so we do not recommend ordering so close to the event date. Deliveries to some areas will take longer so if you live in a particularly remote area, please contact us first to ask about delivery times and take note of the surcharge for deliveries to Northern Ireland and some other outlying islands and highlands. Our policy is to reprint damaged items, not refund.

PLEASE NOTE
If you would like to come and collect your order in person, we will be happy to refund you any basic postage paid upon collection up to the value of courier shipping. Express shipping includes the express processing fee which is non-refundable.

Returns: Personalised items cannot be returned. It is your responsibility to check every detail on the proofs (colours/dates/spelling/punctuation/repetition etc) as well as finished card sizes. We may ask for photographic evidence if ever a return is requested. *If an order is cancelled once proofs have been drawn up, an £8 fee will be deducted from any refund to cover the cost of editing. Priority Express fees are non-refundable.
