These bags are new and stiffer than pictured. But I imagine, with use and handling, they would loosen up. Quality very good. I turned down the edges and filled with balls of yarn as storage and decor.

Well made, needs a handle, we put our compost in the bag and then put in freezer until we can pour into a shared compost bin. Needs to bend or fold over easier to contain what's placed inside
