Deceived Apprentice (Starkiller / Galen Marek TFU) 3D Printed Lightsaber Kit

The Deceived Apprentice quickly dispatches the master's foes, until the apprentice becomes the enemy. This hilt features an exposed central chamber with an optionally illuminated crystal. While it may appear to be cobbled together from junk and scrap, its utilitarian design belies a personalized charm. The Deceived Apprentice is based off of Starkiller's lightsaber from the video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

There are six crystal shapes available (A, B, C, D, E, and F), each with their own unique style. Additionally, an LED assembly is offered with several color options (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, and white). Either printed pins or metal pins are also available. Please note the 2x CR2032 coin cell batteries are not included, but they are widely available in stores.

All 3D models are meticulously created in Fusion 360 under the design philosophy of "would you buy this for yourself?" PLA kit parts are prepared using PrusaSlicer and printed at 0.1 mm resolution on a Prusa i3 MK3S+. Resin parts are prepared using Lychee Slicer and printed at 0.05 mm resolution on an Elegoo Saturn 4.

This is an unassembled and unfinished printed plastic kit. Sanding, gluing, and painting will be required (though sanding is optional). Support material is removed and some minor clean-up is performed prior to shipping; what you see in the photos is what you get. The kit is split into individual pieces that are separated to make finishing, painting, and assembly as easy as possible. Some seams may need to be filled in before painting. Every kit comes with detailed written and illustrated instructions.

Please note the interior of the model is solid and does not support standard electronics, nor does the kit support attaching a blade. It is intended for static display or as a costume belt hanger only.

Kits are made-to-order and typically ship in 1-2 weeks (or less), but may take longer depending on order volume. Parts may be printed in different colors depending on filament availability, but usually come in grey.
