The dish is shaped with air dried clay, rolled in pepper granules, sanded, painted and then finally varnished with a glossy coating.

Shipping was a tad behind expected but got here in plenty of time for the holidays. It actually shipped fast fast but it was the parcel services that were behind so nothing on the seller. Pieces are so cute and the customer service I received before and after receipt was great!!
