On a windy day I laid still as stone in the meadow and looked up through the waving grass. Red winged blackbirds, unaware of me, came closer and closer. Eventually though, my mind began to wander and turn to unimportant things, and without thinking I sat up. The birds immediately launched into the air, clouds of milkweed seeds swirled and then also drifted away. I laid back down in the grass, and waited and waited and waited, for them to come back to me.

This is my second purchase of prints from Pete. They are more beautiful in person. They will go beautifully with my coastal decor. I would love to see some of his older work for sale again.
