Highlights
This latch hook rug is so well made that you should not fear using it on the floor! That’s where I found it being used – it was dirty and matted down for having been used right next to the side of a bed. Washed up fantastic! Dried outside and tossed in the dryer for about 5 min. just to fluff it up! Awesome!
The colors are great and really compliment the design.
I estimate the rug was made sometime in the 70s or 80s as that’s when it was so popular to make these.
The rug measures approx. 32in. long x 22in. wide.
The rug has binding on the back side demonstrating it was well finished. You can see some hieroglyphics written on the white binding no doubt describing who and when the rug was made…can’t read it but perhaps someone with better eyes can.
The rug is clean and free of stains or holes…there does not appear to be any gaps in the yarn.
Perfect in an eclectic room either on the floor or hung on the wall. If you decide to place it on a hard surfaced floor make sure you apply a rubber backing so you don’t slide or trip!
