Highlights
Order the highest quality pre-assembled stretcher frames, available in custom sizes. Milled from clear finger joined Pine, a stretcher bar is used to construct a wooden stretcher frame onto which artists and canvas printers can mount their canvases. They may also be used for small-scale embroidery projects.
Pricing for a pre-assembled frame is based on width, height, and moulding profile. Click on your selection below, then choose your desired width, height, and quantity. Add the item to the shopping cart to see the pricing.
We recommend thicker frames for larger canvases, to ensure stability and durability. If the print is very large and the frame is very thin, the final product will be unstable and liable to crack or break.
*Note: These solid wood, custom stretcher frames are for stretched canvas prints and paintings.

ASSEMBLY
All stretcher frames will be shipped joined, with corss braces ready to use unless the size is labeled as Dovetail. All hardware needed will be included.
DOVETAIL
Very large frame sizes like 48x72" will be shipped dovetail to save on shipping. Please visit page below on how dovetail joining system works

Very well make stretcher frame. I tried my hand at making a vintage too large picture smaller by stretching it over a smaller frame. It worked out very well and as the picture rolls over the sides I can hang it without additional framing. Prompt delivery. Quality product. Very pleased with my purchase.
