This is a stained glass window in the style of a Mackintosh rose and the Arts & Crafts design. A beautiful handmade glass in blues, greens, browns, and teals make up the rose, a lovely variegated green for the stem and leaves, and a creamy vanilla glass for interest in the tiny squares behind the rose. The background glass is a clear waterglass, a glass that has a texture of a softly undulating surface of water. I've framed it in 1/2" zinc came and patinaed it black, along with the solder lines. Polished to a luxurious glow, it has sturdy hanging hooks soldered into the frame and a strong chain is included, making it ready to hang. This copper-foiled stained glass window measures 18 1/2" tall by 12 1/2" wide. It would make a stunning gift for a very special someone, or a wonderful addition to your own collection.
