Material: Eco polymer - Mineral Organic Material Based on Clay

Zakohani (from Ukr. — "закохані", Eng — "in love") is a collection of clay lamps inspired by ancient Ukrainian traditions and crafts. It includes table lamps, sconces and chandeliers in three colours and sizes.

On the territory of Ukraine, pottery has been known since the Neolithic period (VII-V millennium BC). Ukrainians have plastered their houses with clay; they ate from dishes made of clay, and whole generations of Ukrainian children played with clay toys. Today, clay symbolises remembrance of one's roots, history and home.

Why Zakohani (in love)? The shape of the lights resembles two figures gently clinging to each other. And even if such a figure is just by itself, it still loves. Because together or alone, they are still in love.

Simple forms preserve the most profound meanings. Warm colours are echoes of the morning and the coveted evening.

"When looking for a form for the first collection, I strived for simplicity and naturalness. And then I found a bent stone. You might think it was bent by some difficulties in life, some stormy river. But I decided that it bent itself to hug someone important — and that's how the second stone appeared. This is the highest manifestation of love — strength and vulnerability," says Alisa Tyramisova, a ClayP product designer.

The clay products do not undergo the process of firing. They, therefore, allow interaction with the purest and most natural material, the symbol of the creation of all living things — clay.

All items are durable, environmentally friendly, and recyclable. They will be a great fit in private homes and restaurants, hotels, shops and other cultural and entertainment facilities.
