Sallen-Key reproduces the architecture of the late KORG MS20 filter.

It’s composed of a –12dB/oct low pass and a -6dB/oct high pass,
Unlike the original, you can select/mix each filter type with the dedicated knob.

Like the original MS20, Sallen-Key offers a nonlinear feedback path.
This design avoid the filter to clipping when self-oscillating, but also give it is
unique color.
We’ve chosen to integrate LED’s instead of diode. It not only slighlty changes
the color of the resonance but also give feedback information about the drive of the resonance path.

Since Sallen-Key can self-oscillate it can be used as sound source. Tracking is accurate across 6 octaves.

A great, well designed, POWERFUL filter. The kit is really a breeze to make with the best instructions I've seen to date. The filter is a real beast of its kind, so much than even with a single VCO you can make awesome sound and effects. A must for every synth!
