Summer book is a SECOND BOOK in a 4 book series of Season books. Living in a temperate climate zone where all four seasons are contrasting with each other you notice how nature changes from month to month and with each such transition there are familiar processes involved.

Summers in temperate climate are the most green, colorful and lush happenings! Flower fields are buzzing, trees are full of bird songs, everything turns abundantly green .

This tactile fabric baby book is made to modestly deliver this amazing time period from one`s imagination to touchable feeling. This is a true QUITE BOOK, and really, no written words are needed when there are so many colors, tones and textures involved. It then becomes a reader`s task to make this quite, little story come alive. :)

Book is made from NATURAL FIBERS mostly- cotton, linen, corduroy, velvet, wool, leather.

This book is also a fully RECYCLED PROJECT, made from fabric scraps, tiny bits and pieces, leftovers from other projects.

Every book is handmade and unique so there can be slight changes from what is seen on photos. Materials used can vary yet colors, tones and idea remains the same!

Suitable for ages 0-100 years. Babies and toddlers under 3 years should be supervised while using the book, due to small details added.

Machine washable. Use washer settings that are suitable for wool fabrics and handmade, delicate products. Do not use dryer! Form the shape while still wet before drying.

Book contains 12 pages (covers included).

Mammas Rokas toys can be wrapped as a gift if you check a little gift box when ordering. Please bare in mind that aesthetics of wrapping will be left up to Mammas Rokas recycled, earth friendly mindset. All the wrapping material will be recyclable or reusable afterwards. Also repurposed materials might be used to wrap the gift.
You can also add a gift message to your order. It will be printed out in a cute font and added to the package/wrapped gift.

Mammas Rokas toys are almost entirely made from repurposed materials.
Materials are scouted in a thrift shops and also provided by people after they downsize their closets.
All materials are then machine washed in 90 degrees C, using hypoallergenic, non perfumed, eco friendly washer detergent.
All materials are ironed and steamed in a process of toymaking.

All Mammas Rokas baby toys are made with a thought of the little ones and their specific needs. Small details are added not only as a design solution but as a developmental feature. Although all the little details are sewed on with the best possible care, it is up to every parent to evaluate his child`s specific behavior and decide whether toy is safe enough to leave their baby playing without supervision.
