This is a wooden purse from the 70's with a folk art feel. It is a basket with a hinged lid and is hand painted with shops that were current on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City in the late 60's and 70's. The top is decoupaged and there is a small round mirror inside the lid. It is lined with a quilted cotton fabric that is soiled from use. There are several small damaged areas at the corners from use. Handle is intact.
