I’d like to give the butter dish a 4.5 as it is not a perfect 5. It’s very beautiful but it is too narrow especially the cover. It fits over a perfect butter stick but once the butter is used and becomes messy, the rim of the cover is always on top of some of the butter squishing into it. The butter dish that it is replacing is 4 inches wide on the tray and the cover is 3 inches wide. This one is 3 1/4 and 2 inches respectively; somewhere in between would be just fine. Might just be mine though. I do love it!
