This is a beautiful antique trinket box. It's covered in deep blue velvet and has a large inset gilt metal cherubs decoration on the lid. It's a light weight box with a bit of give to it, possibly papier mache or cardboard. The lid has a good hinge and the inside of it is finished in a padded blue silk. It's in overall good vintage condition as you can see in the photos with light signs of age and wear to the outside edges. The internal storage space of the box is ideals for small items of jewellery such as rings, necklaces and brooches. It's a beautifully made piece and would look great on a vintage dressing table!

I'm now using eco-friendly packaging for all orders including biodegradable brown craft paper tape, biodegradable bubble wrap and void fill packing chips and, where possible, reused boxes. The only thing I've not yet been able to find is eco-friendly clear tape used for attaching shipping labels, so if you're aware of any such thing please let me know where I can find it. I'd love to be able to offer 100% eco-friendly packaging!
