Georges Barbier was one of the great French illustrators of the early 20th century.
This reproducton is from the large format album "Le Bonheur du Jour, ou Les Graces a la Mode" assembled and published by Jules Meynial, 1924. A Barbier tour-de-force, which caused great excitement at the time and is sought as a choice rarity today.
