What to Expect From our Models:

We print on high-resolution 8K and 12K printers to ensure our finished products are representative of the renders shown in the listing images and use a navy grey blend of two high-quality resins, specifically chosen to improve definition and flexibility. All models are washed twice; once with IPA and once with water. This ensures the surface is clean and ready for priming/painting.

3D printing requires the use of supports to properly print models. Similar to sprues, these can leave marks on the surface of a model. We use best practices when removing these supports to reduce damage, however some small nubs or pits may remain that require light sanding to remove.

Larger models will often be printed hollow for several reasons: to reduce the prevalence of print lines; improve the longevity of our printers; and reduce the risk of printing failures. A hollowed model will still have thick walls and an internal lattice to retain structural integrity.

Most models will arrive as a kit for assembly, as we ship these as separate parts to better ensure safety during transit. Please note that plastic glue/cement will not work with resin models; for assembly we recommend a general adhesive, such as superglue. Though we do our best, the printing process may result in small gaps between pieces during assembly and recommend a general model filler if required.


Scaling:

We use a number of different scaling conventions for our models. This is primarily due to our use of files from a number of digital artists that use different scaling methods themselves, as well as the greater dynamism and range of poses that models now have. We provide scaling images on most of our listings, which show the model at a particular scale alongside a standard 22mm D20, 32mm RAS reference model, and ruler for reference.

As gamers ourselves, we understand the importance of scaling your models correctly to fit existing collections or systems, so we encourage anyone who is unsure of the size they’re looking for to contact us and we’ll be happy to work with you to find the right size.

Our different scaling systems are explained below:

Base size – This refers to the diameter of the base that the model sits on. If this is the only scale option on a listing, then the model you receive will have the same relative size to that base as is shown in the renders provided.

Relative ‘Absolute’ Scale (RAS) – This refers to a system in which a 6ft character will be a certain height to the eyes, and all other models with be proportional to the 6ft character. For example, in 32mm RAS a 6ft character will be 32mm tall from the bottom of the foot to the eyes, but dwarves will be shorter than this and trolls will be taller than this but will all be the correct proportions for that scale. Each listing has an image that can be referred to showing this scaling system applied across a range of models.

Height – This simply refers to the full height of the model from the bottom to the highest point, and does not refer to the height to the top of the head. Bases will be included as part of this measurement if they are not thin and flat.


Shipping and Processing Time:

Our models are wrapped in perforated paper and securely packaged in slightly oversized boxes with ample loose fill to protect your order during transit. Small pieces of models that come as kits, such as weapons, arms, etc may be packaged in a small, brown envelope that is included in the box. All our packaging is recyclable and biodegradable, with our loose fill made of corn starch and suitable for composting.

As a rule, our processing time varies from 1-2 weeks (5-10 business days) depending on the size of the order, and the availability of printer space. We try to process orders as quickly as possible and thank you for your patience. If you need a model quickly for a specific event, please get in touch – we can’t guarantee our ability to rush an order, but we’ll always do our best.

Domestically (within the UK), our orders are shipped using Royal Mail Tracked 48 as standard. Internationally, orders are shipped using Royal Mail International Tracked, with full tracking information provided. We provide several shipping upgrade options for domestic buyers; just check the dropdown menu at checkout if you wish to speed up your delivery.

Custom Work:

We do provide services for custom work. This may involve printing a model at a size that we do not normally provide, or basic 3D modelling work to change a model in some way e.g. adding wings. We do charge an additional fee for this service that varies based on the model and work being done, but we do try to keep this cost competitive and fair. Please contact us directly for any custom work you’d like done.
