Wash Care: First wash of the fabric should be done separately. It is recommended to wash a small piece of the fabric first using the soap or detergent of your choice. Hand wash or machine wash in cold water Use diluted liquid mild soap or mild detergents Do not use chlorinated bleach Do not scrub IRONING Iron on slightly damp fabric Iron on reverse DRYING Line dry or use a lower heat cycle in a tumble dryer for best results

Hemp, hemp blended and linen fabrics are expected to shrink upto 5% in the first wash. Cotton fabrics may shrink from 2%-10% depending on the kind of fabric. Tightly woven fabrics tend to have less shrinkage. Loosely woven fabric like gauze will have more shrinkage in first wash. Wild Silk and handmade fabrics are expected to have 4-6% shrinkage.
