This boy's shorts PDF sewing pattern is extremely versatile and easy to make. The pattern includes three pocket options (including a cargo pocket) or you can leave the pocket off. This pattern is versatile enough to use a wide variety of fabrics. Use sweatshirt fabric, knits, cotton flannel or even jersey for a comfortable, around-the-house pair of shorts, or you can use woven cotton, linen, seersucker, or denim for a more dapper look. The comfortable elastic waistband is easy to sew for you, and easy to get on and off for your little man. There is even enough room for a cloth diaper!
This pattern includes sizes 3 months - boy's 18. The PDF file includes detailed step-by-step instructions with pictures and a computer-drafted paper pattern to be taped together and cut out. It also includes instructions on adding three different pockets, a cargo pocket, a flat pocket with a flap, and a regular flat pocket. There are clickable links throughout the PDF to make navigation easy for you.
