This is a great feeder to introduce your kids and grand children to the world of birds and Conservation, this is where it starts for many to a life long interest and careers in anything nature oriented, it did for me! This Feeder holds 3 cups of seed and is ideal for the smaller birds like Chickadee's, Nuthatches and the like! This product can purchased together with the small or large suet feeder as a Starter kit to complete a balanced feeding campaign. In order to get the most out of all materials as not to throw anything out or burn, this feeder is made with small left over pieces. Many long time Birders prefer the smaller feeders that need filling daily, this keeps the feed fresh, dry and clean. Also having more feeders reduces high stress fighting at the stations! Cedar is naturally weather resistant and there is a chemical in the cedar that naturally kills bacteria and reduces Avian borne disease. THIS IS A VERY SMALL FEEDER, its Dimensions are 8.5 inches long x 7 inches high x 7 inches Wide. All shipping is done through Canada Post. The rate is calculated from Quesnel British Columbia to the furthest Eastern point of Canada and USA. If shipping is less then you will be reimbursed the difference!

Love my new bird feeder - and so do the birds. On any given day there are at least 5 different birds checking it out! It is a great size - good for small birds like finches and chickadees, but surprisingly the cardinals are getting in there too. Light enough to hang from my lilac bush (for winter use). Delivery was good and fast. If I need more bird feeders I'll definitely from here again!
