After your order is accepted by USPS, we are no longer responsible for any lost or returned packages.

What if my item is damaged?

If your item/s arrive damaged or defective, we will send replacements out immediately. If your items are damaged after use, we will provide a return shipping label and send a replacement after we receive the item. If it has been longer than 4 weeks since the items have arrived, buyer is responsible for shipping costs.

~Sizes~

*Please note that the size above indicates the longest measurements AFTER the shape is cut in clay (from cutting edge to cutting edge). The actual cutter will be slightly larger to include the handle.

~Materials~
All of our cutters/tools are printed in our studio with high quality PLA. PLA (Polylactide) is a renewable thermoplastic and a polymer, which is processed from the starch of plants such as corn, sugar cane, and sugar beet, making it environmentally friendly and sustainable.

~Features~
Our cutters are carefully engineered specifically for working with polymer clay. Each cutter has a 10mm tapered wall and a .4mm cutting edge so that they require minimal sanding. They also have a sturdy base and a slight lip making them easy to use/grip.

~Tips for detailed cutters~

⁃ Work on a CLEAN glossy surface, such as a glass or ceramic tile. This will give your clay something to grip to other than your cutter

⁃ You can use cornstarch, water, or cling wrap on your clay before using your cutters to prevent sticking- I like using a light dusting of cornstarch on my clay slab AND cutters. Excess cornstarch can easily be swept away with a fluffy makeup brush (or paint brush, whatever you have!)

⁃ For the cleanest cuts, make sure the cutting edge of your cutter is making contact with your work surface when you press it into the clay. Use a flat surface to push your cutter into the clay, such as an acrylic tile, coaster, etc- Since our hands aren’t perfectly flat, they tend to press down on cutters unevenly. You can also firmly roll an acrylic roller across your cutter after it’s been stamped in clay for added pressure.

⁃ If you find that the clay is sticking to the clay despite using cornstarch (or other methods), trying using a thinner slab of clay. Our embossing/stamping lines are 1.8mm from the cutting edge, so your clay should be just slightly thicker (I use the level “2” setting on my Atlas machine)

⁃ If you’re still having trouble getting a clean cut, you can use the “double stamp” method- push your cutter into the clay without fully pressing down, so that only the outline appears. Remove your cutter, and then re-stamp, this time fully pressing down. You can use cornstarch between stamps for a little added help.

~Care~

We use special reinforced filament called PLA+ (Plus) so that our cutters are extra durable. That being said, they are prone to warping at high temperatures. If you need to clean them, you can wipe them down with a baby wipe, or hand wash them with luke warm water.
