What am I purchasing?

All products sold by The Maker Vault are digital downloads. You will receive design files, plans or instructions as described in the individual listing. No physical product, materials or finished item will be posted to you.

What file formats will I receive?

The included formats vary between products and may include DXF, SVG, PDF, STEP or other supporting files. Please check the individual listing carefully to see exactly what is included before purchasing. Not every product includes every file format.

How do I download my files?

Once payment has been confirmed, sign in to Etsy.com through a web browser and go to Your Account, followed by Purchases and Reviews. Select Download Files beside your order. Etsy does not currently support digital downloads through its mobile app. If using a phone or tablet, open Etsy through your web browser instead. Guest buyers can use the download link in their Etsy receipt email.

Can I sell products made using your designs?

Yes. You may use our files to manufacture and sell finished physical products on a small-business basis. You may not resell, share, copy, upload or distribute the original digital files (or modified versions of them) in any digital format. The copyright and ownership of the design files remain with The Maker Vault. Please contact us before using a design for mass production, licensing it to another manufacturer or producing more than 100 finished items.

Can I modify the files?

Yes. You may modify the files for your own personal projects or to manufacture permitted physical products. Modified digital files must not be sold, shared or redistributed. Making changes to a file does not transfer ownership or create a new design that can be distributed separately.

Are the files ready to cut?

Our files are professionally prepared with CNC manufacture in mind. However, machines, software, tooling and manufacturing processes vary. Please inspect the geometry, check all dimensions and confirm your machine settings before cutting. We strongly recommend carrying out a small test cut before committing expensive material to a complete project.

Will the files work with my machine or software?

Our files are supplied in widely used formats, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every machine, controller or software package. Before purchasing, check that your software can import one of the formats included in the listing. If you are uncertain, send us the name of your machine and software and we will help where we can.

Can I return or exchange a digital download?

Because digital products cannot be physically returned, we cannot normally accept returns, exchanges or cancellations once files have been downloaded. Please read the listing and confirm the file formats, dimensions and intended manufacturing process before purchasing. If a file is missing, damaged or does not match its description, contact us through Etsy and we will work with you to resolve the problem.

You will receive the CNC DXF Vector files and PDF reference drawings and plans.
This is designed to be made from 15mm thick wood / lumber, although the design can be modified to suit a different thickness if needed.

Included with the PDF drawings are clean 1:1 scale CNC DXF files that are used with your CNC software (such as V-carve, Aspire, Fusion360 etc) to generate gcode files used to operate your CNC Router .

The assembled design measures XXXmm (XX”) wide and XXXmm (XX”) high.
The DXF files are completely editable so that you can scale the design up or down to suit your requirements.

Assembly requires wood glue and other wood working tools and equipment.

This is a set of digital files – No physical item will be shipped!
