Greek crown tiara. Slim low profile for some not too much bling. This crown is made in raw brass sheet and wire, soldered and sanded. The center point is approx. 1/2 inch and the width about 6 inches. This can be worn by adults and children alike.

Please Note..... that some combs, hair pins and some crowns are rough soldered By design and have been worked over by a cutting wheel then sanded. The solder is silver solder and lead free. The work done that way creates a texture to the metal, marks Do show, the solder shows, and is Not by accident. It creates what I call my "caveman style" and are not bright shiny smooth but have a softer shine and softer feel to the metal. Because these are hand made there will be slight variations to each piece.

# Item care #
I do not coat crowns, hair items or other jewelry with lacquer or other chemicals. They are raw metals. They can be polished with a metal cleaner or dropped in some lemon juice for a bit, toothbrush and toothpaste also polish well, don't forget to rinse or you can turn your goodies green. You may also leave the piece alone and allow the metals to achieve a patina.

This crown is so perfect! It fits great and its the perfect height! You can tell its a crown but its subtle enough to wear as a headband if you wanted. Its extremely well made and not too heavy.
