Natural. Rustic. Woodsy. The eco-lover sponge holder for the country kitchen. It not only helps your sponges stay dry and clean, it keeps your sink a bit more organized, and it adds a level of decor to your home. They carry a simple leaf and berry cutout design on the front and a 3-hole design on the back. They're about 3.25" tall (+/- .25"), meant for the kitchen or bath, and some people use it to hold tea light and votive candles, or mail and memos, napkins, 3oz dixie cups, and more. They come in several colors:

The Ombre Denim Blue glaze—a flat sky blue on most clays—goes primal on this rich iron-stained clay. It reacts with the iron to form a cascade of banded shades from black, espresso and cobalt, to a neutral cerulean, teal and sky; sometimes you’ll detect a faint creamy halo. Overall, reminiscent of your favorite distressed stonewashed blue jeans.

The Eco Green shino glaze is shown in last picture with mail and stamps. On the near-black, iron-rich clay it emits a soft light green base with lots of the brown clay specs coming through. Reminiscent of spring forest leaves. Newly grown moss. After-rain tree bark lichen. Perfect for the environmentally-inspired, sustainability-conscious, tree-hugger in all of us. (I also have a 'distressed' eco green that shows many more crawl spots and areas of dark brown glaze.)

The Freckled Lavender is the mystical unicorn of the purple family. When used on the near-black, iron-rich clay, it breaks up into shades of lavender, violet, lilac, mauve, and orchid with a healthy influence of multiple brown freckled tones.

The Creamy Shino glaze reacts with the near-black, iron-rich clay to create a mottled, speckled, spotted, almost antiqued color with shades of ivory, tan, and browns. Elegant yet natural. Modern yet rustic. Manhattan yet country.

And my newest addition, Toffee Brown. Very warm, more chromatic than the others, and the near-black clay brings out the same freckling of deep browns. Caramel, honey, distressed leathers, and African safaris come to mind.

Very nice. My only suggestion would be that the artist consider a small hole in the bottom to serve as drainage.
