This contemporary designed solar house sign is produced from 5mm thick matt acrylic & has hidden standoff fixings on the rear which allow the design to appear to float off the wall. The text is printed using specialist UV inks, which bond to the acrylic giving it a vibrant and tough finish.

The brushed aluminium solar lights work by using a solar panel to generate energy from sunlight, converting it into an electrical current which charges the internal, rechargeable batteries. These batteries then power the lights. The in-built light sensor controls the lights, automatically activating them once the sensor detects dusk has fallen.

Position the solar house sign at least 2 meters from other light sources. The closer the light is, the less effectively it will work. Please ensure the face of the solar panel is not shaded. Choose a place where it gets as much direct sunlight as possible.

Solar powered lights will still charge if they are not turned on, and by turning them off you allow the battery to get a full charge over several days of sunlight. It is an idea to do this regularly with solar lights. Please be mindful that during the winter months, there are darker days and not much direct sunlight, this will only charge your light for a short time. During the lighter days your light will remain brighter for longer.

All our solar lights do come with a battery, but we do suggest that you might find it more helpful to change this battery, to a stronger Eneloop Rechargeable AA Battery during the winter months.
