Beautiful 10k yellow gold French jet watch chain & fob is a fantastic example of “Victorian Black Jewelry” - mourning jewelry popularized by Queen Victoria after the death of her beloved Albert. French jet is a type of black glass jewelry from the Victorian era.

Please see photos for dimensions. The faceted/cut ball is about 15.4mm (about the same diameter as a marble - not included - as shown in one photo). Very good vintage condition with small amount of wear commensurate with its age (some very small flea bites to the black material) - please see video & all photos. Gold is unmarked but tested 10 karat by my jeweler. The dog clip works well as intended.

This distinctive piece would look wonderful as a standout component of a neck stack.
