The most precious of gifts for the father of the bride on her wedding day. I can transform your own handwritten message to your Dad and turn it into a hand stitched handkerchief he can hold close to him on your special day and treasure for many years to come. These are also ideal for other members of the wedding party, including sons, brothers, uncles, grandparents etc.

Entirely custom hand stitched to order; all I require from you is an image of the handwriting you'd like me to stitch. This can be taken from a greetings card, note, letter or other source (as long as it's a clear image/s) and I can combine handwriting from multiple sources (ideal for making a new message/passage of text).

To send me the handwriting images you can do so via Etsy upload images feature when you order or Etsy messages (either before or after you order). You can also email these to - theflossystitch [!at] gmail.com

A numerical date counts as one word and a written date count's as two (e.g. 11.01.1991 - one word, 11th January 1991 - two words).
A section of handwritten kisses can count as one word.

KEY DETAILS

- Simple edged large hanky approx. 40cm X 40cm
- Handwriting will be stitched bottom corner of the hanky
- Satin edge/trim on handkerchief may vary from pictured in listings
- Multiple text shades to choose from - Black, Dark Navy, Dark green or Dark grey or something else

PLEASE NOTE - whilst these hankies are 100% 60s cotton which is typically better as the higher the count the thinner, better and closely woven the fabric, this does mean the hankies appear quite thin and are very delicate so you may see the stitches between words through the fabric. I would recommend these only be kept as a sentimental keepsake rather than a functional day-to-day (blow your nose) kind of handkerchief.

I ship to US, Canada and Australia, from the UK. My current processing time and shipping times can be found on the listing (shipping will vary depending on your location).

Your handkerchief will come wrapped in lovely tissue paper and twine. At the checkout, you can also add ‘gift wrapping’ to your order which allows me to print a personalised message from you and attach it to your wrapped piece. This is a lovely addition if you are giving it as a gift.
