*Please Read Item Description Thoroughly Measurements Include Below*

This is a lovely 1910s rose printed cotton lawn dress. The dress has a center panel of bobbinet and a higher square neckline trimmed in pastel blue silk. It has dolman styled ¾ length sleeves with bobbinet ruffled cuffs. The dress has a fitted waistband and the skirt has a straight simple front panel with three ruffles that run around the back of the dress. The skirt is A-line falling to the ankles. The dress fastens up the front with hooks and eyes. The left side of the center panel and the waistband wraps around to the side where the skirt fastens with hooks and eyes. The dress is a rose print and has some warm-toned discoloration all over but in a few spots where the dress is white. Under the ruffles, the print is of blue and pink roses and is just the most darling thing ever. There is an F and L written in pen on the neckline. I am not sure if this is the original owner's initials or if it is just some marketing added to the dress sometime in its lifetime.

Condition:
The dress is in great condition and is still wearable overall even with the slightly warm-toned discoloration and fading to the print on the dress. There is also a small stain on the front of the waistband. The dress has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.

Please check the measurements closely for determining fit. I do not give sizes for vintage items as women's sizes are not standardized and a majority of these dresses were homemade or specialty made to fit one person. If you have any questions about the fit feel free to ask, I am happy to help.

Also if you happen to want more photos of anything please feel free to ask I am happy to provide them.

I am happy to do layaway on all items over $100.

All items are lovingly packed for safe travels and the experience of buying a (mostly) one of a kind piece.

I post all of my listings to Instagram as well as some additional content. If you want to see more you can follow me: @the_romantiquary If you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Manufacturer(s):

Antique ca. 1900s-10s

Product safety:

Please keep in mind that all vintage items should be worn with care and at the buyer’s discretion.

Delicate Materials:
Older fabrics can be more fragile and prone to damage—avoid overstretching, excessive friction, or prolonged stress at seams and closures.

Embellishments & Metal Parts:
If the garment includes embellishments, beading, or metal components, inspect for any loose parts before wearing. We carefully assess each piece before listing, but age and handling can affect structural integrity over time.

Cleaning Instructions:
Hand washing or professional dry cleaning is generally recommended. Always refer to any original care tags or the included care card, as not all vintage garments are suitable for laundering. If you're unsure about a specific fabric or piece, feel free to contact us for guidance.

Steaming & Ironing:
When steaming or ironing vintage garments, proceed with caution. Some older synthetic or blended fabrics can trap steam and may distort, bubble, or melt if exposed to direct heat. Always test on an inconspicuous area first, use low settings, and place a pressing cloth between the fabric and heat source when ironing.

Thank you for giving this piece a second life.
Your care ensures its beauty endures for many more years to come.
