Was looking for a woodsy incense perfume that does not smell like dill, oud, smoke, soap, or axe. This fragrance managed to avoid all of those notes that I hate. This is exquisitely crafted you can feel the love in how it was made. Temple of Horus smells like recently cut down oak or poplar trees, hardwood more than pine or cedar. It also has exactly the smell of an old wooden altar in an ancient church or a coffin in a museum. To me it is much more hard wood than incense but I like it. There’s two parts to it I’m unsure about: it does initially have a crayons wax smell, which isn’t bad but not my favourite, there is also a very subtle bitterness that bites a little under the surface comparable to linseed oil. I wanted a fragrance that I could layer with gourmands to tone them down. This is a hit. I’ll try the discovery set next

Beautiful woodsy incense-like fragrance that lasts a long time but isn’t overpowering. It came in a lovely wooden box and fabric satchel. Definitely would buy again.
