Please be aware that we begin working on your custom tag within 24-48 hours after your order is placed. If you need to make any changes or corrections to your order, you may do so until the engraving process begins. But to ensure accuracy and manage high order volumes, if you need to make changes to the personalized information, you will need to cancel the original order and place a new one with the corrected information. However, please keep in mind that cancellations are only possible before the engraving starts.

If you have a graphic that you'd like to see on a tag and you own the copyright or are legally allowed to use it, please feel to contact me to see if it will work on a tag. Images should be high resolution and black and white two-toned only, with no grey scale. The minimum fee for custom engraving with your own image is $15 in addition to the price of the tag but may be higher depending on what needs to be done to the image.

I do not offer actual custom artwork design due to order volume, time constrictions, and the rate I would have to charge for it. I'm a perfectionist and it can take hours to fine-tune my final artwork for designs, which would come with a pretty unreasonable price for a pet tag. Although if you have a request, please feel free to shoot me a message. I'd love to hear your ideas and if I get enough requests for a certain type of design, it may become something I make in the future.

Your tag will ship within 4 to 6 business days. Once your tag is engraved, your shipping label will be printed since it is past the point of changes or cancelation. But because the finish on our tags is important, your tag is not shipped immediately after engraving. There is still a couple of hours' worth of finishing work left on each batch of tags before I can actually ship them. Due to this, you may see a delay in when your label is printed and when your tracking info shows up online. The normal delay is usually 24 hours after you receive your shipping email but can be a little longer if it ships over a weekend, or if the USPS distribution center is suffering from delays.

Because all tags are personalized, unfortunately, we cannot offer returns. But if there is any mistake on our end, rest assured we guarantee to fix it and reship the item at no cost to you.

This guarantee does not apply to buyer errors.

We know that mistakes happen, and we want you to be able to use your tag. So, if there is a spelling error or typo on your end, we gladly offer a one-time discount tag replacement option. For non-critical errors like simple spelling mistakes, just ship the tag with the mistake back to us postmarked within 14 days of delivery. And once we get it back, we will remake the same size and design tag for you for 50% off the normal retail price. Please know we cannot offer a replacement discount for spelling errors if you choose to keep the tag, if it's past the 14-day mark, or if you want a different tag size or design.

For critical errors that would cause an issue in your pet being returned to you, like address, phone, or microchip number typos, we don't require that you send it back. Just let us know within 14 days what the error is, and we will issue a new listing for the same tag for 50% off the current retail price.

Rest assured that if your order is lost in transit, we'll happily remake it 7 days after filing a missing mail request with the carrier or upon their confirmation of loss, whichever is sooner. Please note that if no service request is filed, we cannot reprocess your order. We want you to receive your tag as much as you do and as a small business your cooperation helps us serve you better. But if no service request is filed and we are notified it is still missing, then we will start the process for you 14 days after the last tracking update.

If your tracking shows as delivered, but you haven't received it, the best course of action is to file a service request with USPS as soon as possible. You can easily do this online at the link in the previous FAQ question.

Sometimes, missing "delivered" mail will unexpectedly show up a few days later. However, if USPS is unable to locate your package, just provide us with the service request number and a document from them stating their findings and we'll remake your order. If their records indicate that it was delivered to the correct address and it's assumed to be stolen, you will need to file a police report for your stolen package. Once provided with that report we will remake your order as a one-time courtesy per customer.
