7 heavily filled gorgeous diamonds in bright silver assuit thread from the 1930's
Soft stretchy black tulle that is the perfect size to wrap around the body and wear for dancing.

87 inches long by 17 inches wide.

Original 1930's shawl in immaculate condition. Stored away and despite it's age. It looks like it has never been worn. It's a piece of sheer luxury.

The ends have double rows of people in the marriage bed or temple. The borders are hand rolled and have lovely chevron designwork.

The black cotton tulle is fresh and crisp, but fluid and drapes beautifully. The silver embroidery is perfect with no tarnish. Immaculate. Like new.
It has typical Art Deco type designs, arranged in seven diamonds, with designs at each end, sprinkled with medium sized stars throughout. It brings to mind the Flapper girls of the 1920's and 30's., Daisy from The Great Gatsby, and the dress designs for Nijinsky's 'The Rite of Spring' ballet, or Cecil B De Mille's 'Intolerance' film of the early 1920's. They were all the rage in the 1920's, worn by Flapper girls, film stars and debutantes who frequented places like The Cotton Club in America.

Worn by Egyptian Raqs Sharqi bellydancers in the Golden Era of Egyptian cinema in the 1940's and 1950's, and still worn by bellydancers today.

Great Gatsby, Downton Abbey, Peaky Blinders, Egyptian Revival, Coachella, Burningman or draped over a professional bellydancer.
