What keeps unwelcome ants out of your beehives? We offer a low-cost, but very effective way to keep these pests at bay. Our Beekeeping Ant Stopper is made from PETG plastic that is ready for outdoor use. To use, simply add vegetable oil or some liquid that will not evaporate to the wells until they have enough to keep the ants from crossing. This will drown any ants who try to enter your hives. Others have used them upside down and added petroleum jelly to the wells and the ants do not cross the petroleum jelly either. Each set comes with four (4) individual Ant Stopers to support one (1) beehive. The Beekeeping Ant Stopper will save your honey from the ants!

I was having a serious ant problem. After a lot of looking around and asking for advice this seemed a reasonable solution. I liked that I could pick a color, just made it more fun. I traded cinder blocks for stands and ant guards. Someone suggested oil instead of water which I did .
This is the 2nd time to purchase from this store. I am expanding the bee hives this year and purchased them more. The ones I ordered last year went through the winter and they r still looking like new . Good investment for me !
