Nieve Candles or the owner is not responsible for any damages or injuries caused by improper care. 1. TRIM YOUR WICKS! Trimming your candle wick will help prevent soot! 2. Keep away from children and pets. 3. Burn on a heat-safe and leveled surface. 4. Allow your candle to form a full melt pool, but never for more than 4 hours. 5. Keep your wax free from any dust or debris. 6. Burn within sight. 7. Avoid drafts. 8. NEVER touch or move a hot or lit candle. 9. Stop burning when 1/2" of wax remains.

Orders will be shipped to the address provided at checkout, so please make sure to enter the right address to receive your order. The customer will be responsible for any shipping charges due to incorrect shipping information entered, and will not be refunded for any customer error. Please make sure to note that Nieve Candles likes to ship their items out within 1-2 days of receiving the order, but sometimes that may not always be possible. Please allow 5 business days before contacting us. The USPS may also be the cause of shipping delays. All orders will be available for tracking. Please contact us if your order is not delivered 10 days past its estimated arrival day.

If the weather is hot, it is possible for your candle or wax melts to melt during transit. Nieve Candles can not control the weather or the temperatures of the post office warehouses or their vehicles. We are not responsible for any products melting in transit. To ensure that you get a good product, please keep tabs on your tracking information so your order is not left outside in the sun or hot mailboxes for too long. If the weather is hot, do not open your candle or wax melt right away. DO NOT PLACE YOUR CANDLE OR MELTS IN THE REFRIGERATOR! Place your candle on a leveled surface and allow it to cool down and harden again.

If your order is over $25, it will be insured and tracked. If by any chance if there are any damages or losses to your order, it's the customers' responsibility to file a claim with the United States Postal Service. Nieve Candles has no control over a shipment once it's in the possession of the USPS. Contact Nieve Candles if your order is damaged or lost. We will replace any damaged or lost orders, or refund you (minus shipping costs as that can't be refunded).

Why is there black smoke coming from my candle?

That black smoke is soot and is caused by untrimmed wicks. An untrimmed wick throws off the balance of heat and fuel, thus creating a chemical reaction and produces black smoke and soot. Our solution: TRIM YOUR WICKS TO 1/4" OF AN INCH BEFORE EACH BURN! Trimming your wick helps prevent any black smoke and soot. We also recommend keeping your candle away from any drafts as it can also cause black smoke and soot. (Did you know that trimming your wicks can actually make your candle last longer? Trimmed wicks provide the perfect heat temperature to melt your candle at a good pace. Untrimmed wicks can cause your candles to burn hotter and faster!)

Choose your own wax melt from our Robin Collection! These are strongly scented wax melts that are made with high-quality fragrance oils. Our wax melts are perfect for sampling our Robin collection.

We use the max amount of fragrance oil to wax ratio possible, so that may cause the melts to be softer than other melts. We don't use any chemical hardening agents. If you find your melt to be difficult to remove from its clamshell, use a butter knife to carefully scrape the wax out of the container and into your warmer.

HOW TO USE WAX MELTS:
Break off 1 or 2 melts (depending on the size of your warmer) and enjoy your scent for 6 to 8 hours. You can use your wax melt for a few hours at a time until the scent has burned away. Please make sure to always follow your wax warmers manufacturer's instructions when using your melts. Since melted wax can be very hot, please make sure to not leave unattended children or pets away from your warmers.

WARNINGS:
Never leave melting wax unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never add water or any other type of foreign substance to your warmer bowl. Wax melts are not edible. Avoid skin contact with hot or warm wax. Make sure to follow your manufacturer's instructions for your wax warmer.
