Copper naturally oxidizes which can be polished with a number of products and items found in most homes. The copper used in my jewelry is not treated for tarnish resistance. For some people, it can leave a tint on the skin which is not harmful and is easily washed off.

If you prefer an ear wire made with different metal, I can make you a special pair with brass or stainless steel. Please include this information in a message when purchasing.

To maintain intentional patina on your copper jewelry, do not expose it to chemicals, lotions, soaps, etc. If it gets wet, dry it completely.

Brass will last forever BUT it takes some maintenance if you like it shiny bright gold.
Brass is an alloy of zinc and copper because of the copper it naturally oxidizes to a duller bronze color. Some prefer this look, if you do not, it’s easily polished with products found in most households or in your local stores. My favorite is vinegar, let it soak for a few minutes and dry it off well. For more stubborn oxidation I use Brasso, toothpaste and Bar Keepers Friend works also. Be careful when using these products not to get them on shell like abalone.
Keep your brass jewelry dry, store in a bag or in a low humidity area, and free from products such as perfumes and lotions.

I do not guarantee any of my pieces to be nickel free.
However, the stainless steel I use is cadmium and lead free, high quality 201, 304, or 316 grade. It does contain nickel (like all stainless/surgical steel does), although, the nickel does not leach into the skin from stainless steel.

If your tracking information shows it was delivered but you haven’t received it, wait at least 48 hours before filing a claim. Sometimes tracking shows delivered status before it actually has been. If you don’t receive it you will need to contact your local post office.

Keep in mind I can see the same tracking info as you. If you have a problem you need to contact the postal service for assistance.

Once a package is in USPS possession, it is out of my control and I cannot be responsible for it.

Earring length measurement is from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the entire earring, it INCLUDES the hook part that goes into your ear.
Measurements are an approximation and may vary slightly.

All of my work is made to order, therefore, it takes 2 to 5 days for your order to ship. Orders placed after Wednesday may not ship until the following Monday.
I am a one woman shop, large orders may take longer.

Be sure to have the correct shipping address entered prior to making your purchase and check your Etsy messages often. I will only ship to the address entered as the shipping address. Packages returned due to an incorrect address will be refunded minus the shipping cost.

I cannot guarantee delivery times and once the package is in the possession of the post office it is beyond my control. I do not refund for lost packages, it is the buyer's responsibility to submit a USPS claim for a refund. All packages are insured.

I recommend using a polishing cloth or polishing pad to clean your silver. Do not use a dip as it may remove antiquing or intentional patina.

Stainless steel jewelry can be wiped with a damp cloth.

I do not gift wrap, however, your jewelry will come neatly wrapped in vintage book pages and twine, then sealed in a padded mailer.
I try to be environmentally conscientious and have found that jewelry boxes most often go immediately in the trash.
