These uno threaded shade fitters are designed to go hand in hand with our uno threaded sockets (they'll fit on any socket with uno threads), and they will hold a 2-1/4" shade with their adjustable screws. With so many shade styles, shapes and colors out there, let your imagination run wild and find the perfect shade for you! (We also have larger 3-1/4" and 4" fitters available)

So due to lack of knowledge on my part, I purchased three of these to redo the pendants over my kitchen island. They weren't exactly correct in size... again, my error. But I contacted the seller whom was gracious and patiently explained to me the problem and a couple possible solutions. Hubby was able to modify each and they are now work to hold the metal shades I had selected. Thank you to the owner for responded quickly!
