Such a gorgeous mug! Perfect for my pottery collection
As delightful as pictured—I love looking at this little guy and I love drinking out of him. Thank you!
These are unique and beautiful salad/pasta bowls that make weeknight dinner more fun and beautiful. They are ever so slightly more lightweight than I might have hoped, and I wish the bottoms were painted the same as the sides, but these are tiny, subjective quibbles. The bowls also arrived very quickly considering they were made-to-order. Thanks very much!
I give this item 4 stars because although it was not for me and I'm returning it, I respect that this is something someone has made and likely put their creativity and passion into and I want to support that. My favorite thing about this mug were the colors which were exactly as shown in the picture. What I disliked was that it was very misshapen. The top rim was almost square-like which would make for a really awkward drinking experience and it didn't seem intentional. It was also very thin and seemed as though it would break or chip easily. I accept that this just isn't a match for my preference and style but if that kind of thing doesn't bother you, then I highly recommend this mug. If it does bother you, then I don't recommend this mug. Seller was responsive to my request to return, however. Greatly appreciated.
It is always sad when a customer is not happy with an item. I only send out work that I would be happy with myself. To thin? my work is made with stoneware pottery it is very durable and though my mugs are not heavy or thick I have not heard anyone report they have had problems with breakage or chipping. I do appreciate that Amanda at least understands and respects that handmade items. And I do accept returns, but I do also appreciate those who actually read descriptions and look at the photos carefully before ordering. These mugs have a lot of beautiful stamps in them and when stamping can distort the shape of the mug. Personally, I didn't think it was a problem for the drinking experience. Thanks for you review Amanda.
