FITTING AND FINISH
Spider top, one half inch recess. Brass finish.

Hexagon frame lampshade.

SCREEN INFORMATION
The shade base is new bronze screening material, which was used on screened porches, years ago. The screen will never rust or corrode, but it will age into a warm tony bronze color.

TRIM INFORMATION
Top and bottom wires and vertical edges are finished with brown cotton rayon grosgrain ribbon. Final trim is Henna velvet ribbon. All hidden wiring is painted with oil rubbed bronze enamel paint.

USES
This shade is best suited for a small table lamp with a harp and finial, but could be used with a clip adapter as is shown in the photos.

COMMENTS
The bronze glow from this lampshade is warm, especially with an Edison bulb in the lamp fixture. Please see other sections in my shop for a large selection of handmade lampshades, finials, and lamps with custom shades. All hidden wiring is coated with enamel paint to ensure longevity.

Lint rollers work great on fabric lamp shades.
For wire mesh shades a lint free cloth and canned air will give you optimal cleaning results.
On small lamp shades it is best to use a lower wattage light bulb to avoid scorching the polystyrene lining. For the highest wattage a purchased shade can handle, please contact me.
I use mineral oil to polish lamp finials.
