The next generation of the ultimate solution to the infamous stiction problem in the Thrustmaster T16000m Throttle. Optional adjustable magnetic detents added in response to numerous previous requests as well as the slider mod made by ADU labs.

Improvements:

- Bearing Mounts
> Tapered mount surface: perfect bearing alignment at all times while keeping tight, zero-play tolerances.
> Backstops changed - tighter tolerance.
> Increased enclosure of bearings - tighter tolerance.

- Magnetic Detent - Install/Uninstall option on all parts.
> Slider magnet moved closer to base magnets - Strengthens the detent.
> "Hockey Stick" part added - Magnetic detent options from 10% - 90% in 10% increments
- Mount in the case with hot glue (press hard) or super glue.
- Reverse Polarity War Emergency Power/110% detent option - Throttle pushes back off of 100% when released.

- "µ" graphic added: Greek symbol "mu" is commonly used to denote coefficient of friction in the friction equation: F=µN.

Background:
Thrustmaster's OEM part rubs its own structural plastic on the metal rails, wearing down, losing dimensional accuracy and increasing static friction (stiction). This problem has been troubleshot by many, from loosening rail clamps on the OEM part to adding fancy damping lubricants, tape, or felt. None of these solutions address the structural wear or corresponding play/wobble.

Included in this slider is your choice of metal linear bearings or self-lubricating polymer bushings. These bearings or bushings maintain tolerance and greatly reduce static friction while making the lifespan of the part infinite. Metal linear bearings will last forever, move very freely with a louder noise and a “textured” feel in the handle. The polymer bushings have a tighter tolerance, slide quietly, and have a smooth damped feel. You can choose either and find more on Amazon to swap out/experiment with.
